Job Description

We are looking for a mechanic to join Mondelez's maintenance team at their food production facility. The job involves responsibility and participation in maintenance troubleshooting and repairs to ensure the operational reliability, sustainability, and efficiency of production lines during the night. In this role, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing machines and machine parts, restoring machines to optimal condition after breakdowns, collaborating with maintenance colleagues to resolve issues, creating work orders, maintaining good contact with production staff, and coordinating between production and maintenance. As a colleague, you are a good listener, curious, skilled at giving and receiving constructive feedback, a knowledge sharer, and professional in your work approach. Mondelez's goal is to ensure maximum uptime for production lines through effective preventive and planned maintenance while minimizing unplanned downtime and production losses. They work to maintain high safety standards and adhere to regulations regarding workplace safety and machine safety.

About the Employment

The position is full-time. Working hours are scheduled for permanent night shifts from 23:06 to 06:06.

Start date and salary are negotiable.

Location: Upplands Väsby

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repairs with precision and efficiency.
• Troubleshoot and repair during unplanned downtime/breakdowns.
• Ensure that machines and equipment return to operation in optimal condition.
• Participate in risk assessments for maintenance.
• Procure new and/or process broken components.
• Document completed work and reporting.
• Collaborate with technicians and operators to address various types of breakdowns.
• Work according to safety regulations and follow the company's workplace policy.
• Participate in training and workshops to stay updated on new technologies and equipment.

Qualifications

Requirements:

• At least 2 years of experience in industrial maintenance
• Experience in repair and troubleshooting
• Experience with Microsoft and Office suite
• Good mechanical knowledge
• Practical experience working with production machinery

Preferred:

• Knowledge of automation and PLC systems.
• Welding and turning
• Data analysis to predict maintenance needs (predictive maintenance).
• Competence in digital maintenance systems (e.g., SAP PM).
• Experience working according to Lean Six Sigma
• Electrical knowledge
