Job Responsibilities

As an IT support and developer, you will be responsible for supporting the department's employees in IT and telecommunications and contributing to the department's development and implementation in these areas. The role includes collaboration with other departments, identifying the department's development needs, and finding solutions. As one of the two procurement coordinators in the staff, you will administratively manage the departments' direct procurements throughout the process, from request for proposals to contract signing. This involves supporting colleagues with questions about contracts and purchases, serving as a link to the central procurement unit, and being part of the municipality's coordination group.

The job responsibilities may also include mapping and documenting processes as well as conducting training and presentations.

Qualifications

You have very good knowledge and a genuine interest in IT, telecommunications, and development work, as well as familiarity with public procurement. It is an advantage if you have a degree at the university level in computer engineering or systems science, or have worked with digital development and public procurements. A requirement is that you have good knowledge of office systems. You have good administrative skills, are organized, solution-focused, communicative, and engage with people in a professional manner.

Having a positive attitude, contributing to a good work environment, and the ability to work independently as well as collaborate with others are important qualities.

About the Workplace

The Property and Service Management consists of four departments: properties, meal service, cleaning, and staff. We are approximately 350 employees in total. The staff's mission is to provide support to our committees, the management, and its departments with the right competence. We do this, among other things, by following up on the management's operations, keeping things together and driving development forward, as well as coordinating the departments' purchases. Examples of the staff's areas of expertise include finance, committee administration, direct procurement, IT, and office services. The staff's mission also includes leading, executing, and/or participating in time-limited assignments. The role of IT support and development as well as procurement coordinator is part of the staff, and the workplace is at the City Hall.
