Repligen Sweden is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Repligen Corporation (USA) that provides products and strategic services within the Life Science or Biopharmaceutical industry. Our facility is located in S:t Lars park in Lund where we have modern production and laboratory premises. We manufacture growth factors and affinity ligands using microbial fermentation. Since our products are critical raw materials for our customers, we have chosen to base our ISO9001/14001 certified quality system on European GMP. We actively work with continuous improvements in accordance with the LEAN philosophy. Your new position
As a Process Operator at Repligen, you will play a significant role in the work of manufacturing our products. In the production department, about 25 people work who are responsible for fermentation, processing, purification, and filling/freezing of the company's products. You will be part of our purification line where typical tasks include purification of proteins through chromatography and ultrafiltration. Other tasks may involve packing and unpacking columns and preparing buffers.
Your main responsibilities include:
- Performing work according to standardized documents and controlling processes according to given methods.
- Updating SOPs and Batch protocols
- Follow up/CAPA
The position also involves driving and participating in improvement work. You report directly to the Group Leader in production. The position is a full-time employment with a rotating shift schedule.
To be successful in this role, we want you to have:
- Experience in process work within the industry
- Relevant background from education and/or work experience
- Experience in purification processes such as chromatography, micro- and ultrafiltration
- Fluent knowledge of Swedish and English in both spoken and written form
- Ability to work in 2 or 3 shifts
We consider it an advantage if you have experience in:
- Calibration
- Cleanroom work
- Pharmaceutical/Food industry
- Unit operations
- GMP/ISO 9001
As a person, you are communicative, responsible, and honest. You manage part of the process according to results and given frameworks. You should also easily understand process flows. Accuracy is of utmost importance in our operations, and we therefore expect you to work with good structure and precision. Taking responsibility for reporting errors and deviations is a given for you.
