About the Company

Vårgårda Maskincenter is a family-owned business focusing on construction machinery in a broad sense. The company was founded in 2004 by Jan-Olof Johansson. Today, the operations are led by relatives and close friends Jan-Olof Johansson and Fredrik Gärdestrand, employing 9-10 people depending on the season.

We sell construction machinery and accessories, agricultural machinery, as well as trailers for tractors and trucks. In our workshop, we service, repair, and equip various construction machines, trailers, agricultural machines, and forestry machines.

Vårgårda Maskincenter strives to provide high-quality machines and services at a reasonable price. We take long-term responsibility and assist our customers with complaints, service, and repairs even after a product has been delivered.

Job Description

Vårgårda Maskincenter is expanding and is now looking for skilled mechanics.

About the Job:

At Vårgårda Maskincenter, your workday will be filled with exciting and varied tasks, both in the workshop and out in the field. You will:

• Repair and service our customers' machines.
• Perform assembly and installations on the machines we sell.

Qualifications

We are looking for a mechanic with:

• Previous experience working with agricultural, forestry, and/or construction machinery. Experience from passenger car and vehicle workshops is also relevant.
• Experience in welding (preferable but not required).
• Mechanic education is an advantage.
• Ability to work independently and in a structured manner.
• Ability to adapt to new challenges.

In addition to your technical skills, it is important that you can:

• Independently seek information and follow written instructions and drawings, including electrical diagrams.
• Work both independently and as part of a team.

Other Requirements:

• Driver's license B
