Your responsibilities

As a sorting technician with us, you will work with classification, sorting, and packaging of hazardous waste. You will work at our facility as well as at our customers' sites.

You will prepare documentation according to applicable legal requirements and ensure that good order is maintained within our hazardous waste management both at the facility and at customer sites.

In your role as a sorting technician, you will also provide support to production, administration, and our sales organization through your specialist knowledge of hazardous waste.

If necessary and depending on your experience, you will perform sampling and interpret analysis results.

Another part of the job is to inform, educate, and assess risks, both internally and externally with customers.

You will be based in Karlstad, but some travel may occur.

We are looking for you who:

• Holds a B driver's license; C license is an advantage
• Has at least a 3-year high school education
• Can work independently in a sometimes fast-paced environment
• Has an interest in service and a strong sense of responsibility

Meritorious:

• Basic knowledge of chemistry
• Holds an ADR certificate
• Experience in the waste or transport industry
• Knowledge of the Waste Ordinance and Environmental Code

Other

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

Employed as an environmental worker in accordance with the collective agreement.
