What is MAXIMA?
VA SYD plans to build the wastewater treatment system MAXIMA, which is currently the largest infrastructure investment in the region, comparable to the Öresund Bridge and the City Tunnel. MAXIMA includes a new and robust Sjölunda wastewater treatment plant with new outfall pipes in the Öresund, a large pumping station, a sewer tunnel under Malmö, a sewer tunnel from Källby in Lund, and transfer pipes to connect several municipalities. The new system is planned to be completed by 2035 and is a prerequisite for meeting population growth, climate change, and environmental requirements.

In some roles, you may also be involved in the contract in a more operational way, depending on your previous experience.
