At Randstad, we are looking for a driven and responsible machine operator for a company in Skogås/Länna that manufactures rubber products. In this role, you will play an important part in the production process, focusing on tool setup and handling heavy materials.

As a machine operator, your responsibilities will include independent tool setups, optimizing and monitoring machine operations, regular maintenance and basic troubleshooting, handling heavy materials, and participating in improvement work while ensuring a safe working environment, including quality control. Working hours are daytime, Monday to Thursday 06:30-15:00 and Friday 06:30-12:30 (38 hours/week). We are looking for someone with experience as a machine operator in the industry, technical interest (preferably in mechanics/hydraulics), physical strength, attention to detail, problem-solving skills, a positive attitude, and good Swedish language skills. Experience with tool changes, knowledge of mechanics/hydraulics, and experience from the rubber or similar industry are advantageous.

Responsibilities

Your main tasks will include:

• Independently setting up and adjusting tools in production machines.
• Monitoring and optimizing machine operations to ensure high quality and efficiency.
• Performing regular maintenance and basic troubleshooting on the machines.
• Handling and lifting heavy materials in connection with machine setups and production.
• Actively participating in improvement work and ensuring a safe working environment.
• Quality control of produced units.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who:

• Has experience working as a machine operator in industrial production.
• Is technically inclined and preferably has experience or a strong interest in mechanics and hydraulics.
• Is physically strong and accustomed to heavy lifting.
• Is detail-oriented, responsible, and has an eye for detail.
• Can work independently and take initiative.
• Is solution-oriented and has a positive attitude towards challenges.
• Is proficient in Swedish, both spoken and written.
• Has good collaboration skills.

It is highly advantageous if you have:

• Experience with tool changes and setups in production machines.
• Knowledge of mechanics and/or hydraulics.
• Experience from the rubber industry or similar manufacturing industry.
• Relevant technical education.
