Forsells Mekaniska AB is the oldest manufacturing company in Grästorp, founded in 1917. Our customers are primarily located in Sweden, but also across Europe. We perform contract work for both large and small companies as well as for private individuals. Some examples of our larger customers include Atlas Copco, Parker Hannifin (Europe), GKN, RLM, Ranaverken, and Componenta. Our specialty is small series production from single prototypes up to a few hundred parts per series. Our guiding principles are efficiency, customer satisfaction, and quality.

Job Description

Are you a skilled CNC operator looking for your next challenge? Our client in Grästorp is now seeking a meticulous and driven employee to strengthen their team. Here you will have the opportunity to work with modern technology in a stimulating work environment where precision and quality are at the center.

As a CNC operator, you will program, set up, and monitor CNC milling machines to ensure high-quality products for our client. You will be responsible for ensuring that production is carried out according to drawings and specifications, as well as conducting quality checks to guarantee precision and accuracy. You will be part of a smaller, cohesive team while also having your own responsibilities and working independently throughout the process.

The work is scheduled during daytime hours. The position is initially a consulting assignment through NearYou, with good opportunities for employment at Forsells Mekaniska in the future.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with a technical interest, who is a trained CNC operator and has a few years of work experience in the field. You have good knowledge of reading drawings and machine programming. As a person, you are self-driven, proactive, and a great team player. To succeed in this role, it is important that you perform your work with great precision and take responsibility for ensuring that your tasks are carried out with high quality. You are a positive person with the desire and motivation to improve as well as to learn new tasks.
