We are a manufacturer in the hearing protection industry and our focus is on earplugs.

We are now looking for a Machine Operator for the production of earplugs at our facility in Tyringe.

As a machine operator at SwedSafe, you should be meticulous, have good organizational skills, be quality-oriented, and responsible.

Technical and mechanical knowledge regarding pumps, flow meters, and valves is advantageous.

The work as a machine operator is independent and requires the ability to handle many tasks simultaneously, as well as being quality and hygiene conscious.

You are meticulous in all work processes and routines and always want to deliver a good job with high quality. As a person, you are driven and see what needs to be done, taking initiative to get things done. You also bring your own ideas for improvements and efficiencies.

It is important to be able to work according to and understand written routines and working methods.

Hygiene, order, and cleanliness, as well as other aspects of 5S, are high on the agenda.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Machine monitoring, troubleshooting, replenishing raw materials and components.

Packing finished products into various packaging and packaging machines.

Operator maintenance and optimization of production and packing.

Cleaning and checking of machines and equipment

Optimizing production from both quality and quantity perspectives

Sampling and quality control

Reporting completed production

Carrying out article changeovers

Carrying out product changes

Ensuring that the correct materials are used for each product and that labeling devices are correctly set for the product and article to be produced

Reporting deviations to the nearest supervisor or their deputy

WORKING HOURS AND SALARY

Working hours are shift work, two shifts, day and evening shifts.

Night work may occur.

Employment is a 6-month probationary period that may lead to permanent employment.

Salary according to collective agreement with IF Metall.

Interviews will be conducted on an ongoing basis, but the latest application date is June 25. Start date for the position is by agreement
