ABOUT THE POSITION

Our client is one of the leading construction companies in the Nordics and is now looking for a scheduler for their upcoming construction project in Järfälla. The construction project is planned to start at the turn of the year, but we are looking for someone who can start as early as September to participate in the important preparatory work before the project starts. The project is expected to take about seven years.

As a scheduler, you will play a central role in driving and developing the overall project timeline. You will work from an existing plan, continuously follow it up, and manage any deviations. By gathering information from different functions, you create a comprehensive picture and ensure clear communication both internally and with the client. There will be about 80 employees on the project.

An important part of the assignment is to translate the budget calculation into a concrete activity plan with the right resource allocation and timelines. The role requires good collaboration skills, production understanding, and experience working closely with both the project team and external parties.

The position is a consultancy assignment located at the establishment in the vicinity of Järfälla, with working hours during the day. In accordance with our client's guidelines, we conduct background checks on the final candidate.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Tasks

• Collaborate closely with clients, project managers, contractors, and suppliers to ensure a common understanding of timelines and changes.
• Follow up on project progress, analyze deviations, and report continuously to the client.
• Translate the budget calculation into a detailed activity plan with the right resource allocation and timelines.
• Identify key milestones, potential risks, and opportunities in the timeline and suggest actions to manage them proactively.

WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO

• Has an education focused on construction, project economics, or similar.
• Has at least 5 years of experience as a scheduler or in a similar role within the construction sector, with experience from various types of projects and sectors.
• Has previously worked on large construction projects.
• Experience with the MAP system.
• Has excellent knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
• Good knowledge of MS Office.

It is an advantage if you have experience working with advanced scheduling tools.
