As a Deputy Store Manager at jem & fix, you are responsible for the store's operations when the store manager is not present. This means you create conditions for yourself and your colleagues to deliver good sales results in the best way possible.

As the store manager's right hand, you ensure that routines regarding cash, deliveries, and working environment are followed, and you constantly strive to be a role model for your colleagues.

You work operationally with the daily store operations, which consist of tasks such as ordering and receiving goods, unpacking deliveries, and leading and actively participating in sales and inventory work.

You are proactive and results-oriented with the ability to clearly communicate expectations and information to your colleagues. You are well-organized and solution-focused even under high workload and have the ability to prioritize and plan for the best workflow. Continuous evaluation of your own and your colleagues' work efforts is something you see as a given. Perhaps you have an ambition to take on the role of store manager in the future?

If you are also a dedicated and handy DIY enthusiast, that is a big plus.

About us

jem & fix is a low-price building market in construction, home, and garden. We are a family-owned Danish-Swedish company that opened its first store in Sweden in 2005. Since then, we have steadily expanded and are continuously building new stores. Currently, we have over 200 stores spread across Sweden, Denmark, and Norway. This makes us the leading low-price building market in the Nordics.

Work experience

Experience in customer service and/or sales, at least 3 years.

Employment conditions

Salary according to Union's collective agreement.

As the store is open every day of the week, both day, evening, and weekend work occurs.

Employment form: Permanent full-time employment, probationary employment applies.

Salary: Fixed monthly, weekly, or hourly salary

Driver's license: B license or AM license
