In the role of Security Protection Manager, you are responsible for coordinating, supporting, and following up on the municipality's work with crisis preparedness according to the law on municipalities' and regions' measures in preparation for and during extraordinary events in peacetime and heightened readiness. The Security Protection Manager will guide and develop the municipality's work with security protection.

You will be placed at the Rescue Service, and your immediate supervisor is the Chief of Rescue Services.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Examples of tasks included in the position:

• Coordinate the municipality's work with crisis preparedness and civil defense
• Support the municipality's operations with knowledge regarding security and preparedness issues
• Drive the municipality's work with security protection
• Analyze and address risks and vulnerabilities
• Establish and be responsible for governing documents and plans in the area
• Educate and train the municipality's crisis management organization
• Coordinate the municipality's work with crisis support to the public
• Collaborate with authorities, municipalities, and other actors
• Follow up and report on completed activities

QUALIFICATIONS

Requirements for the position:

• Post-secondary or higher education, or otherwise acquired knowledge with a focus on crisis preparedness, civil defense, and security protection.
• Experience from similar tasks.
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English in both speech and writing.
• Driving license B

Meritorious for the position:

• Work experience from a municipality or other public sector.

As a person, you are secure, stable, and outgoing, and you work in a structured and systematic manner. You have good problem-solving skills, are analytical, and can easily learn new things. You have a good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both orally and in writing.

To succeed in the role, you need to be communicative and have a good ability to collaborate with others as well as work independently. You are pedagogical and have an interest in educating and sharing your knowledge in the field of security.

The position is classified in a security class, and a security clearance process including a security interview with a background check will be conducted before a hiring decision is made. During the security clearance, you will be investigated as a person, your background, and your relationships from a security perspective. You need to be a Swedish citizen.
