Freight Forwarder with a Focus on Sea Transport

About the Position

In your role as a sea freight forwarder, you will have a coordinating role, maintaining daily contact with your customers and the ability to collaborate across functional boundaries within the organization. As a sea freight forwarder, you will work with a comprehensive solution for sea transports, so you need to have some knowledge of transport methods and an interest in learning the processes that the work is performed according to.

You will work from the office in Helsingborg as a sea freight forwarder. The position is a consulting assignment starting immediately and initially extends over the summer with possible opportunities for extension.

Your main responsibilities include:

• Handling and being responsible for customer inquiries
• Planning and coordinating sea transports according to bookings from customers or other offices
• Developing and maintaining customer relationships
• Working with daily customer satisfaction and conducting regular follow-ups
• Updating systems and information accurately
• Invoicing, price calculations, and volume calculations
• Ensuring that documentation is complete and up to date

About You

You who apply enjoy taking responsibility for your tasks, managing them in the best way through accuracy and structure. You plan and handle events through communication, with a solution-oriented mindset and good initiative.

You have a strong customer focus and are service-oriented. You enjoy variation and flexibility that allows you to work both independently and in collaboration with colleagues and customers. With your social profile, communication comes naturally, and you are comfortable in both Swedish and English. Previous experience in transport or equivalent education is advantageous but not a requirement.

• Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
