Do you want to help shape the future of healthcare? We are now looking for an experienced project manager to lead the procurement and implementation of a new automation line within laboratory medicine.

Within Laboratory Medicine in Dalarna, we invest in modern and efficient laboratory operations. We are now embarking on an exciting development journey where we seek someone who wants to take overall responsibility for one of our most important technology and operational projects.

Laboratory Medicine in Dalarna consists of clinical chemistry, clinical microbiology, clinical immunology, and transfusion medicine, where we work across departments. The operations are regional with laboratories in Avesta, Borlänge, Falun, Ludvika, and Mora. The laboratory's goal is to provide diagnostic analyses that can be ordered by other healthcare providers and to ensure blood availability.

Approximately 150 employees work within Laboratory Medicine in Dalarna. We are now looking for a project manager whose focus will be on the procurement of a new automation line. Leading other projects may also become relevant. Location: Falun.

As a project manager, you will play a key role in driving the procurement, planning, and implementation of a new automation line for laboratory medicine. Your mission is to ensure that the project is carried out according to schedule, budget, and specifications - with high quality and in close collaboration with both internal and external stakeholders.

Since there is a fixed timeline, it is crucial that you are self-driven, structured, and capable of pushing the work forward with a clear focus on results.

You will:

• Lead and coordinate the entire project from needs analysis to operational solution
• Develop and manage procurement documentation in collaboration with the procurement unit
• Work closely with laboratory staff, technical personnel, suppliers, and other stakeholders
• Be responsible for communication, risk management, and follow-up in the project
• Contribute to the development of future working methods within laboratory medicine

We are looking for someone who has:

• A university or college degree in natural sciences or engineering
• Preferably experience working in laboratory medicine
• Documented experience in project management, preferably within healthcare
• Experience in procurement according to LOU
• Very good ability to lead cross-functional teams and collaborate across organizational boundaries
• Good knowledge of both Swedish and English, spoken and written

It is advantageous to have:

• Experience in implementing automation solutions or laboratory technology

You are a proactive person with the ability to work independently and ensure progress according to the established timeline.
