Job Responsibilities

Tutus currently has several different development teams, of which you will belong to one of these. Here you will be part of a team that develops apps for secure communication and information management based on encryption. You will develop both mobile and system apps that are used on special phones and computers, which are also developed by Tutus. The apps are used for communication via chats, calls, and video conferences, both general and customer-specific apps if the customer, for example, wants to use the features in a tactical situation and be able to communicate in a certain way. Currently, there are 4 other app developers and several system developers, and you will collaborate closely with many of them. The challenges in the role can partly be that there is a lot to learn, and you will likely work on areas you have not encountered before; you need to familiarize yourself with and understand what is security-bearing and what is not, and you will work in an environment that is completely disconnected from the internet - therefore we believe it is good if these challenges attract you! Since the code needs to be kept behind locked doors and work on it can only take place in secure premises, all work is done on-site at the office in Mörby Centrum.

Tutus works with Android Studio, Kotlin, and Jetpack Compose. If you also have experience with Gradle for build automation, Dependency Injection, Coroutines, Retrofit/OKHttp, JUnit/Espresso, MicroG, UI design, and MVVM architecture, these are technologies and methods you will utilize.

You also have good collaboration skills and are good at sharing knowledge with those around you, and you are driven by working with complex problem-solving where the result is what counts.

Furthermore, you have…

• A post-secondary education in computer science, software development, or similar
• Several years of experience in app development where you have worked with the entire development chain
• Knowledge of Android Studio, Kotlin, and Jetpack Compose or equivalent technologies
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English as both languages are used in the work
