Spekerödskolan is a curious, engaged, and learning organization. We believe in our students' ability to learn and succeed. Our school is based on a systems-theoretical and learning-based perspective where everyone: students, guardians, and staff are seen as important parts of a common whole. Currently, we have about 320 students and around 30 adults learning and developing together.
Our approach at the school is characterized by the idea of children's right to education and development rather than school obligation. The staff's ambition is to conduct a high-quality operation focused on students' safety and learning. Students should be given the opportunity to succeed, allowed to learn from failures, overcome difficulties, and feel a sense of belonging to the group.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
As a teacher in after-school care, your main task is to plan, implement, and evaluate activities at the after-school center. Planning, implementation, and evaluation are based on the goals in the curriculum Lgr-22, and the value foundation work permeates the activities both in school and after-school care. During school hours, you will work together with teachers based on your common area of work.
As a teacher in after-school care with us, you will be part of a work team where you, together with colleagues, contribute to the school's development, and where we strive together to develop and achieve the set goals.
You vary your teaching and adapt to the group so that all students learn and develop based on their needs and conditions. Working as a teacher in after-school care is about constantly developing and enhancing the operation based on the students we meet. You should have good pedagogical competence and be well acquainted with the governing documents of primary school and after-school care.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for someone with education for the assignment and certification for teaching in after-school care. You are a strong pedagogical leader and passionate about developing teaching in after-school care. Those who have not yet received their certification are also welcome to apply.
For the role, we want you to be a present teacher with clarity in communication, goals, and results. You possess qualities that include both structure and creativity. It is important that you are secure in your professional role and that you are clear and have the ability to build good relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues.

Teacher certification must be brought to the first interview. A criminal record extract must be presented before employment.
