We are looking for

We are looking for a service technician who will work with the service and maintenance of medical technology equipment and sterilization technology. Since we work closely with healthcare operations and are in daily contact with our customers, we are looking for someone who is service-oriented and has an easy time collaborating. In healthcare-related contexts, you demonstrate good judgment and act, express yourself, and make decisions in a considerate manner. You can independently plan and execute your work, have a sense of order and tidiness, but can also adapt to changing circumstances. To achieve the organization's goals, you need to be strategic and have the ability to prioritize your work while seeing the big picture. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.

A good background is some form of electrical education, control and regulation, or service work with products containing electricity, air, or water. You are a problem solver who enjoys a lot of customer contact and is committed to IT/MT support and the best interests of the customer. Regarding your IT skills, we would like you to have good experience working with Windows and Office services. We prefer that you at least have a completed high school education. It is an advantage if you have previous experience with sterilization technology equipment or medical technology products and/or have worked in operations governed by clear quality requirements. Good knowledge of Swedish and English is a requirement.

This is what you will work with

Our operations are responsible for the management of medical technology and sterilization technology equipment, which includes everything from procurement, maintenance, troubleshooting, and finally decommissioning. You will book and plan your workdays together with your team. You will perform annual preventive maintenance (FU), validations, and emergency maintenance (AU). It includes handling and documenting work orders and inventory in our system. You will actively participate in the work of developing our operations in close collaboration with healthcare. You also need to consider the various regulations that govern the operations.

The unit Operational IT/MT Gällivare is part of the operational area IT/MT support, which delivers daily IT and MT operations to Region Norrbotten's various healthcare operations. You will work in a team with various professions such as other MT engineers/technicians, sterilization technicians, and IT technicians.
The team's mission is to perform preventive and emergency maintenance on the hospital's sterilization/medical technology equipment in close collaboration with the operations.

Information about the position

Permanent employment, full-time with placement at IT/MT support Gällivare Hospital.
Travel is common in the position, so a B driver's license is a requirement.

Selection and interviews are ongoing, and the position may be filled before the application deadline.
