About the Assignment

At Vamas, we work purposefully to ensure high quality drinking water and effective wastewater treatment. We are now looking for an operations technician in the pipe network who wants to be part of our journey to shape the future of water services. The role of operations technician is versatile and offers great opportunities for personal development. You will work independently and together with experienced colleagues to develop work methods, skills, and technical solutions.

Your Responsibilities Include:

Supervision and maintenance of wastewater pumping stations and pipe networks
Troubleshooting, repairs, and operational optimization
Project work and operation of water and wastewater systems
Emergency and preventive maintenance of water facilities
Operational monitoring systems
Digital documentation and self-control
Contact with internal and external parties
On-call duty may be included in the position

Your Profile

We are looking for someone with a technical education in construction, civil engineering, electrical engineering, or equivalent knowledge from work experience – preferably within operations technology in the water sector or a similar technical field. You are a solution-oriented person with a good sense of order, who takes initiative and has good collaboration skills. Your interest in technology as well as environmental and quality issues is significant and drives you in your work.

You are a pedagogical and communicative team player who works in a structured and service-oriented manner. Your work style is characterized by accuracy, flexibility, and commitment. You are self-driven and motivated to improve and further develop work methods and processes. You have the ability to plan, organize, and execute work with high precision.

Meritorious:

Experience in water operations
Experience in troubleshooting and operational optimization
Driver's license B96/BE
