If necessary, we will train you when you start your employment as a timber measurer. Your training will take place in close contact with your manager, colleagues, and quality leaders.

Job Description

You will work at Hilmer Andersson saw, which will also be the stationing location for the position. The working hours are currently two shifts with a working time of 38 hours per week. Your tasks consist of stock measurement of timber as well as other tasks at the measuring station such as some cleaning and administration. As a trained timber measurer, you will be responsible for the daily operations at the measuring station and will have ongoing contact with both drivers and customers. The work must be performed according to our core values, that is, in a reliable, impartial, and engaged manner. Of course, we do this together!

Who are you?

We see that you are a person who is meticulous, likes order and structure, and enjoys working with numbers. You are service-oriented, both towards customers and colleagues, have an easy time collaborating, and are a good team player. You are engaged, professional, trustworthy, and have a knack for identifying improvement opportunities to enhance your daily work. Furthermore, you need to be comfortable working in practical tasks and in digital systems, as well as being able to communicate in Swedish, both verbally and in writing. The position requires you to be self-sufficient and responsible, and a prerequisite is that you have a B driver's license.

Desirable/meritorious

Knowledge of forestry and experience in timber measurement is considered meritorious, as well as being able to communicate in English, but this is not a requirement.
