This is your mission

As a police security driver, you are an important link in the organization's personal protection work, where your main task is to carry out safe, secure, and vulnerability-reducing transports and movements of the Security Police's protected persons.

In this role, you will collaborate and cooperate largely with other roles within the organization, such as bodyguards and personal protection coordinators, as well as with other internal and external parties.

The organization works in an analysis- and event-driven manner, where each employee is expected to contribute based on their role and function. You will work alongside motivated and driven colleagues who take good care of each other. Together, you will actively participate in the unit's continuous development work and contribute to a developing and stimulating work environment.

As a police security driver, you are expected to represent the Security Police and personal protection in a professional manner and with high integrity. The pace can sometimes be high, and the work physically demanding.

The position involves irregular working hours. Your placement is in Stockholm, but travel within and outside Sweden is included in the position.

The qualifications we are looking for

Only those who meet the following requirements will be considered for the position.

Requirements:

• Police degree
• Approved emergency driver training
• Driving license B
• Good experience as a driver and can operate vehicles safely and efficiently
• Basic IT skills
• Good ability to communicate in Swedish, both spoken and written
• Good ability to communicate in English, spoken

Employment requires Swedish citizenship.

If you are applying, you may also have competencies that add breadth and complementary perspectives. If you can contribute with one or more of the following, it is meritorious:

• Experience in police operational areas, preferably with a focus on personal protection
• Experience in personal protection operations
• Language skills beyond Swedish and English
• Other work experience that the Security Police deems relevant to the assignment, such as in healthcare and/or conflict management

You also have good judgment when it comes to assessing situations and noticing and interpreting behaviors.

Events in the outside world affect our daily lives; our days do not always look as we planned, and the conditions of work can change at short notice. This requires you to work solution-focused and have a good ability to prioritize, even when the pressure is sometimes high. It is important that you are flexible, can easily switch between planned and event-driven activities, and can adapt to changing circumstances.

The Security Police places high demands on security and confidentiality, so we expect you to have a high security awareness.

Employment conditions

Swedish citizenship is a requirement, as employment with the Security Police involves placement in a security class. Employment also requires a satisfactory result in the security screening with a background check, conducted in accordance with the Security Protection Act.

This is a permanent position that begins with a six-month probationary period. We apply individual salary setting. Employment comes with an obligation to be placed in wartime.
