Job Description:

As an Automation Lead, you will play a critical role in ensuring the industrial automation and control systems within the plant operate at optimal efficiency. From programming PLCs to enhancing cybersecurity robustness, you will lead the way in maintaining a seamless and innovative production process. Key Responsibilities:

1. Site Security:

• Maintain and improve cybersecurity measures at the plant, adhering to AFRY's MINT and automation standards.
• Ensure compliance with automation and cybersecurity standards.
• Lead cultural change within the operating team to prioritize cybersecurity policies.
• Track and manage plant digital asset inventory throughout its lifecycle.
2. Automation Leadership:

• Oversee all production-related site automation systems, including PLCs, HMIs, SCADA, and networking systems.
• Develop and execute the plant’s OT automation roadmap.
• Facilitate and track automation-related capital expenditures.
• Coordinate updates, maintenance, and innovation projects without disrupting production.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance and technological alignment.

3. Technical Expertise:

• Provide direction for PLC programming, process innovation, and HMI integration.
• Conduct risk assessments for automation systems and infrastructure.
• Support energy monitoring and loss minimization initiatives.

Requirements:

• A bachelor's (master's preferred) in Automation or a related field.
• A minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience in industrial automation and control systems.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in OT Security.
• Expertise in Rockwell and Siemens automation systems.
• Proficiency in IoT/Industry 4.0 technologies.
• Strong project management, analytical thinking, and team management skills.
• Fluency in English and Swedish.
