Welcome to apply for an exciting and challenging job! Coherent is a world leader in optical communication and now needs to hire several fine employees for its rotating five-shift. The work is performed in a cleanroom environment. You will work with several different production equipment, use some tools such as tweezers, and use microscopes while being involved in quality controls. The work is very educational and appreciated while Coherent is doing exceptionally well. Four out of five weeks, you will work six-hour shifts Monday to Friday, and every fifth weekend you will work Saturday and Sunday. You will work a maximum of 30 hours/week and get paid for full-time. Below are the approximate working hours during the rotating five-shift, the order of the weeks may vary. Week 1 Monday-Friday 06:00-12:00 Week 2 Monday-Friday 12:00-18:00 Week 3 Monday-Friday 18:00-24:00 Week 4 Monday-Friday 24:00-06:00 Week 5 off Monday-Friday and you work Saturday-Sunday 06:00-18:30 Please check that you can get to and from work if you do not have a car. In your daily work, you handle different equipment, so some technical background is an advantage but not a requirement. Your personality is just as important as formal education.

To perform the job well, good Swedish in speech and writing is required, as well as the ability to read and understand English.

You as a person: Many of the tasks can be taught to you by Coherent! What is needed from your side is that you are handy, eager to learn, persistent, and have an effective and easy-going way of collaborating.

As a person, you are efficient, plan your time well, and see what needs to be done. You work systematically and enjoy performing your work with high quality. You are meticulous, follow instructions, and handle materials and equipment carefully.
