Instructor for Construction Training

About the Role

As an instructor for the construction training at YrkesAkademin, you play a central role in educating and coaching future professionals. You lead both theoretical and practical components according to the Swedish National Agency for Education's curriculum and YrkesAkademin's agreement with the Public Employment Service. Your work is not just about teaching – you inspire and support participants on their path to employment.

The role also includes working closely with colleagues and industry partners to ensure a high-quality education. YrkesAkademin offers a stimulating work environment with great opportunities for development within the company.

Your Mission

• Educate and guide participants in construction with specializations in wood, concrete, flooring, masonry, and road and civil engineering.
• Ensure that the education maintains a high pedagogical level and is adapted to individual needs.
• Contribute to participants reaching their full potential and creating conditions for employment.
• Collaborate with colleagues and industry stakeholders to develop the education and its content.
• Continuously develop your own learning and pedagogical methods.

We are looking for someone who:

• Has a vocational certificate or can prove at least 5 years of experience in the profession within the last 10 years.
• Is flexible and engaged with a passion for pedagogy and learning.
• Has the ability to adapt teaching to individual needs.
• Is a confident and inspiring role model who builds good relationships and instills trust.

Meritorious:

• Pedagogical experience and familiarity with using learning platforms.
• Vocational certificates in multiple construction specializations.
