Project Designer in Community Building and Infrastructure

ABOUT THE POSITION

As a project designer at Tyréns, you will join a group of 14 people with broad expertise in Land, Street, and Road. The department is distributed across six locations: Sundsvall, Härnösand, Örnsköldsvik, Östersund, Sollefteå, and Umeå. You will belong to one of these offices depending on your geographical location. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibilities

• Design road projects for the Transport Administration, municipalities, and private clients
• Prepare drawings for tender documents and work with as-built drawings after projects
• Focus on traffic planning and ensure traffic safety
• Participate in feasibility studies and investigations
• Collaborate with other specialists and designers within Tyréns as well as with external clients and suppliers

WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO

• Has several years of experience in design within Land/Street/Road
• Experience using Civil 3D as a working tool
• Communicates fluently in Swedish and has good knowledge of English in both speech and writing
• Has a B driver's license as travel may be required in the position

It is meritorious if you have

• A bachelor's or master's degree in civil engineering, community building technology, road and water construction, or alternatively a vocational education with a relevant focus for the position
• Experience working in the design tool Novapoint
